CPA Offer Promotion – Quick Update and Changes

I’ve decided to give a quick update on my current CPA campaign before making some changes that I hope will improve it.

So far, I’ve had 712 clicks via AdWords with total expenses of 553.58$. According to Neverblue, I’ve generated 7 leads with 224$ revenue (+1 lead from Lidango) that gives me 261$ in total revenue. That means 292.58$ net loss.

My conversion rate slightly improved and is 1.02% according to Neverbule. I need to improve this rate whatever it takes or this campaign is a loser for me. If I could improve my CR to 3%, that will give me positive ROI and running this campaign makes sense. I’ve made some improvements to my landing page that I hope will work well, but still I don’t know how that’ll work.

I’ve also run a search query report and created a list of negative keywords, 40 in total. I’ve also analysed the exact ads that lead to conversions and found that 3 conversions of 4 that Google showed came from 1 ad. Probably I should create variations of this ad and test it. Luckily, this ad speaks to my landing page content well.

I’ve also noted down all the keywords that led to conversions and I see some pattern here. Waht I gonna do after my campaign reloads with landing page, is going deep with these converting keywords. I mean including all possible variations of these, misspellings, no-spacings and the like.

I still decided not to expand my keywords list still, as I need to first improve my conversion rate and test my landing page and make sure it makes sense before expanding my list with lower targeted keywords. Yep, some of them may turn to be good converters, but I go small here, gradual improvements, careful work on this campaign. I need to optimize these keywords first, to make sure this campaign is able to make tiny profits.

I’m happy with CONSISTENCY here – I make at least 1 lead a day, and that means that this offer is live and has potential.

Oops, seems my campaign is successfully reloaded with landing page, let it run! )))

    it seems that you have a good cpa offer but not optimizing.. are you doing both search and content.

    are you still direct linking or did you build out a new landing page?

    hi! seems that google slapped this offer both on search and content. at least I see “ads rarely show due to low QS” and my content network campaign isn’t live, although I submitted the request to google to make it live. this is a trial offer with recurring billing and google slaps these offers now (((

    I’ve build a lander for that and got a slap) now think of switching to MSN.
