How to Social Bookmark FAST

Currently I’ve been doing lots of hard work creating my 4 SEO sites. As a part of SEO strategy, social bookmarking is necessary as it gives you the quicker indexing of your site in search engines, plus you also get some link juice (from ‘dofollow’ social bookmarks.

As I’m working on 4 projects simultaneuously, I needed to social bookmark a lot more than I ever did! So I’ve had some experience with this tedious task and since I’m on a tight budget now, I’ve been doing it myself mostly.

Here are 4 ways to social bookmark, 2 are free and 2 are paid. I’m going to touch all of them, but please note that even if you PAY for social bookmarking, it doesn’t mean your content will be bookmarked fast.

So, we have 1 slow and free SB solution, 1 fast and free, and 1 slow and paid and 1 fast and paid.

1. Slow and free Social Bookmarking – SocialMarker.com

I’ve been using this service many times and now I still wonder how tolerant I was towards it! It allows you to social bookmark your content into 49 SB sites, and you can also choose options to submit to “best” sites, “dofollow” sites atc. depending on your goals.

The hardest part is that you need to create 49 accounts before you can submit your content, anyway. It took me over 1 hour to do this manually, and I just used the same username and pass for all 49 accs to speed up the process. I saved all logins to Roboform.

Now the worst thing – when you use SocialMarker, you still spend up to 40 minutes submitting your content, and in many cases SocialMarker cannot open some sb sites, or if you click the wrong button, it returns to the first sb site and you have to “scroll-click” your way to last sb site you’re submitting to.

SocialMarker is also not an option when you have multiple SB account on these social sites, which is necessary if you do massive social bookmarks. Too many headache!

2. Fast and free Social Bookmarking – OnlyWire.com

I was registered to OnlyWire for 3 years already, and haven’t used this highly reommended way of SB. When you create your OnlyWire account, you see paid option to use this service, and free. To use it free – just install the OnlyWire plugin to one of your blogs and validate it – that’s it! Now you can use OnlyWire for free.

It offers 32 social bookmarking accounts, less than SocialMarker, but… you submit your content with literally 1 click of a “magic” button. You just need to install this button to your Firefox, IE or Opera.

Another HUGE benefit of OnlyWire button, you can use multiple account with OnlyWire – just install their plugin to 2 blogs and create 2 separate accounts in OnlyWire and also create 32 other accounts on SB sites. Seems like a lot of work, but it’s worth it!

I multiplied the # of my submissions several times with only 2 accounts in OnlyWire. That allowed me to SB my sites, posts from different sites, and avoid my SB accounts ban (if I submit relative content every 2-3 hours, I can be kicked of SB site as a spammer of self-promoter).

Highly recommended!

3. Slow and paid Social Bookmarking – SB Services

This is simply outsourcing your social bookmarking to a paid service or a freelancer. Why slow?

First, most of the services reserve up to 7 days spread for manually submitting your content to, say, hundred of SB sites.

Second, it also takes time to contact the service, transfer them your payment and wait until they get it, and send them your social bookmarking details. This email or AIM can cost you some time, since you’re not their single client.

Good example – seobuilding.com (a bit expensive) or socialmarking.com (way cheaper). Or you can go to DigitalPoint or Warrior forums and find even cheaper services out there.

4. Fast and paid Social Bookmarking – Social Bookmarking Software

It’s the fastest paid way of social bookmarking I know of. Paid, because this soft typically costs around 150$. It’s worth to buy it since you need up-to-date soft with fresh SB sites and improved algorythms. You can find free hacked soft, but it’s outdated as a rule.

It allows you to semi-automatically create as many account as you want, submit to over 250 SB sites and has the insane features to make social bookmarking a breeze!

As I’ve heard of, most SEO guyes mention Social Bookmarking Demon so it seems to be one of the best/most reliable out there.

Of course, it’s worth to buy it if you’ve got some free money and don’t plan to outsource social bookmarking to a third party service or freelancer.

My Current Choice – OnlyWire.com

Since I’m not that wealthy to afford buying automated SB solution or pay 3-10$ for every submission (I’ve made 5 or 6 submissions today only), I’ve simply created 2 accounts in OnlyWire (and 2×32 accounts in 32 Sb sites ), installed their button onto my 2 different blogs, and easily switch accounts when I need to submit several pieces of content fast.
