I’ve recently analysed one interesting product in Clickbank with gravity 51 and 21$ payout.
I’ve took a close look at the product website, and searched for keywrords that are closely related to the product. 95 keywords in total. These keywords are supposed to be “buying” type of keywrods as people typing it in may result in buying this product since it is what they’re looking for.
As always, the organic results are strong competition, as the sites provide this information for free, which is always a problem with many CB products.
Now I’ll launch the campaign with these 95 keywords – 1 keyword per adgroup, to see how that goes.
I’ve also took an extra step and analysed the paid search results and found that most of my keywords are already “covered” by 4 different affiliates, however, I found a vertical that is not covered, so I’ll be the only 1 advertiser promoting this product in these “gaps”. For the rest of the keywords, I’ll have to outbid my competition in order to be shown 
But – this is just the start, as I’ve examined the product and created a huge list of types and caracteristics of the product. I’ve also included several modifier keywords that create laser-targeted keyword phrases.
Combined, these lists give me several thousands of laser-targeted long-tail keyword phrases with “buying” intent.
I’m planning to “test” the offer with my initial 95 keywords, that are targeted but obvious enough, hence other affiliates are using them as well.
Considering low payout of 21$, I’ll run these 10000s of keywords with broad, phrase and exact matches, and low bids, thus hoping to attract laser-targeted cheap traffic and having 0 competition.
